thats some serious power to te ground to snap even a stockone.. CV joint blew up im guessing?

 

It was a duralast axle. The stock ones are a bit beefier but cost 350$ from ford.... It snapped during the burnout when I hit the dry pavement. Is there any stronger aftermarket axles for the duratec?

I was there for the run as well. His car would have run 11's the way it sat. That was on his first pass of the day. Too bad his axle didnt hold up or it would have run 11.80's easy. Cant wait to see him run it again next time. Any jetters in SoCal should go next time he runs it to watch. I filmed it and you can tell once it got goin it was going to be a quick pass. Everyone in the stands stood up. Heard a couple people behind me saying "Was that really a Focus!" He made the Duratec community proud. I believe that puts him in the top three on the fastest times list.

as of right now there are no aftermarket axles for the focus. i would pay for the Ford ones and if was to breaks thoses then i would be calling some companies for something else.
