So every build starts with a concept, and to do it Foose like you need a drawing. We had already started on the build when I got the drawing, but here's the concept, as interpreted by Derek Gordon Pelloni

Project car was a 'score'. Grandma Car, 73k Miles, Advancetrac Stability Control (IVD), meaning it's got 4 wheel disk brakes, just a little tweak in the front so I had to put on a fender and a strut. Rousch struts from another wreck set it right down in the weeds and a Comp orange SVT donated a front fender because they were laying around and I dig those BMW Z3 vents

How would this actually go? Grab a sawzall and a 'practice car' and chop out the door pillar. First thing to notice is the top of the rear door on a wagon is STRAIGHT, parallel to the ground. The doors on ZX3's, 4's and 5's all start curving down, 2 door sedan might be easier because of the matching roofline. Mute point we're building a wagon! Can't believe I don't have a 'before' picture, but there was a 3/4" gap between the roof and the top of the door. So filler panel? or ROOF CHOP! 1 1/4 at the rear most pillars (the only ones left) dropped the roof 3/4" at the door. Perfect!

Me and my sawzall have to get out of the way, I don't have the Fab skills necessary, but luckily I have all the tools and equipment and my friend Kevin Seal is a master fabricator. He has the skills, but there will be new roads on this Journey! We'll need to brace the roof up this time. Ratchet strap is for pulling everything 'square'
