I'd like to get a 2003 Ztec TB for my 2002, is it worth it? Supposed to be an improved throttle body.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">True, but I'm also interested in the Ford unit. I'm looking at the lack versions 2 and 3 etc to fix idle problems and the like.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">I bought a stock TB from my local Ford dealer for my 2001 for less than $90.00. I can't imagine that the new models would be much different. Online Ford parts dealers will have even lower prices.

I think that the FC TB is a much better part, but you have to pay for quality.

Still waiting to see if anybody knows if there is an improvement, and if it is compatible.

They have revised the blade so it is no longer a potato chip which helps on throttle response but the flow numbers are still terrible. The linkage is completely different too, so you would have to buy new throttle cables in order to perform this swap. I like what they did to the linkage though. We are working on a new braket and linkage so that our FC 65mm TB will bolt up.
