These pics were taken at a very rainy Mustang Roundup, last July In Bellevue Washington. Since the photo's, I have done a few minor things to the car, most notably a Borla Catback system. Several other less obvious things I have done to it include installing a CFM billet DSI lever, CFM lower engine mount, new Ford IMRC unit, new Ford Contour thermostat housing assembly and new front chin spoiler. I also plan on installing a recently acquired CFM shifter when I get a chance. The car has right at 100,000 miles and looks pretty decent overall. Occasionally, I still get ribbed about it from people at work, mostly regarding the color, but I happen to think the color is one of the best things about it, besides the handling..... which is truly awesome of course.

Very nice...

Do you know how rare your car is??? ... 1 of 51 ever made....
Yes...I usually try to throw that in is as a rebuttal for any negative comments, but it seems to have little effect on those unfamiliar or uncaring of the relatively brief but storied Focus linneage. Some dude at a local alignment shop even went so far as to say that the Focus, SVT or not, is simply Ford's throwaway car. Unfortunately, the 1 out of 51 statement from me, did little to convince him otherwise. Whatever.... we like em, that's all that counts.

I saw a grabber orange ford ranger at the last show in issaquah. It had a letter, in the window, from Ford stating that it was one of 1500. Our whatever the number was. You could possibly write Ford and ask them how rare your car is... It would be awesome to show that off!

Sweet ride!

Have you taken care of your timing assembly yet? The Ford service interval means nothing as the tensioners like to break with age as much as mileage. You have such a great car. It would be a shame to have to replace an engine.

Yep, actually one of the first things I did, after new tires and brakes. I originally bought the car to be a commuter, which it is...well sorta. It seems to spend the lousy days in the comfort of the nice warm garage. Seeing as we get quite a few days like that in Seattle, I imagine it will spend more time in there than I originally envisioned.

A 5 door Comp Orange would be one of my ideal stock Foci. We stayed in Bellevue for our honeymoon, and it is an awesome little city. Were those photos taken at the park right next to the mall?

Actually, the pics were taken at Bellevue Community College. The Mustang Roundup Car show is huge a yearly show that is open to all Ford Vehicles. The parking lot there is huge and multi leveled. Typically, on a nice day, the show has a very large turnout but this year was an exception due to the rain.

Just thought I'd share a photo of how it looks with her new snowshoes (studless winter tires) and black rims. Sure I realize that 17 inch rims/tires are not the best, performance wise, in snowy conditions, but seeing as I would never intentionally take the car in the snow, I was more interested in early morning frost/"surprise" snow/ice/slush condition traction.

Thanks for the new car Iseann!

Price is so hard to put on any car. Repairs, documentation, history, personal wants/needs, seller, buyer, etc. etc. I think it was well worth what was paid and has tons of receipts on all the work plus extra stuff. The interior didn't even look like anyone EVER sat in it for 106k miles. There are always hidden gems that you find out later after you get home but overall it was well worth the cash paid. EAP, rare color, 4 doors (yes, my M3 was a 2 door and I had to go family-ish if I had to put the kid/kids in the car), all new just about everything on the underbelly. I honestly don't think I had this much fun driving a car ever. The M3 is great and whoops everything on the hatch but I just didn't get the same jollys I get with this car. I will be browsing the forums a lot more and keeping in touch. Thanks again for the great car and I hope to see some people around Bellingham some day!
