PDA posted their 2004 schedule. These events usually always sell out. It would be nice to get another VIR-like event going!

Well, I'm just a noob to the Focus scene, but I'd definitely be up for a Lime Rock or Watkins Glen trip. (Pocono just doesn't excite me for some reason...)

Can I get a witness?

BTW, does PDA only leave open a certain number of spots for non-members? Pretty common practice, I think.

seanmc-Reserving for members? Not that I know of. I've run a few times with them and flagged for their events, great group of people

bri-$185-$210 range (Pocono Long course $210, they rent entire track about $15,000 a day plus flaggers), they have discounts on multiple events and will give you a credit if you volunteer to flag, around $100 a day plus free lunch.

To all.
They run the green group different than G&W, actually better IMHO.
First class room instruction for about an hour.Humorous and informative. Not 5 minutes to GREEN!
Then 2 sessions of leap frog behing an instructor.
Then 2 sessions on your own or with in car instructor, limited passing to straights.

Next group (yellow) runs like we did at VIR.

I've run some days with NASA Northeast (good folks, too, and sometimes partner up with PDA) and BMWCCA, and that seems to be their policy. Perfectly understandable; folks who pay their dues and support the club should get first dibs. I digress, though - it doesn't appear to be an issue.

Oh, and BTW: <bump>. It would be good to get a little momentum behind a Northeast track day for FJ. Never too early to sign up...

Anyone?

I just sent off an email to them for a little information.

How would people feel about doing a Monday Tuesday session at the Glen? I know we would have to use vacation and all, but I was thinking it could be fun to get up there and do a little cruse of the old Track as a group the hit the Watkins Glen Motor Sports Library. It sounds sort of dorky but they have some really cool books and old race footage.

I got to go to the vintage races there a few years ago and it’s a nice area, and there is plenty to do for the non race fan.

What time of year are we talking? Alright, who am I kidding...I'm hooked.

As long as I can camp and afford the entry, I'm in.

You might be able to talk me into Watkins Glen. What would it run, and does that provide instruction?
The one Group SRF posted the Schedule for does have instruction included. As for the Price I’m not really sure yet, I sent an Email to the guys yesterday but I haven’t received a response yet, so I’ll hound the guy after the holiday. I’ll be heading off to sunny Florida for some Golf.
