Re: 2005 Tokyo: Nissan\'s next-gen Skyline GT-R Concept

crap. i was hoping that it wouldn't look like that
i'm EXTREMELY happy that they kept the rear lights. it's a corner stone

i still wished that they would have done it in a inline six TT engine but hell, we can all settled for a 500HP V6 no?

who here's got +70K?
Re: 2005 Tokyo: Nissan\'s next-gen Skyline GT-R Concept

I'm not digging the front too much, but the rear looks amazing. For $70k though, that puts it in the price range of the Z06...

I'm sick of worrying about how it'll look... I wanna see it go!

I can dig it.

[edit] The back seat looks like it's gone to Midgets Only, though...

I like it but I wish it was a little more original, it looks like a 350Z with a dif front end.
Re: 2005 Tokyo: Nissan\'s next-gen Skyline GT-R Concept

That front end, at least from a side view, looks MASSIVE

The Skyline will probably WASTE it when nissan is done with it, We will see it here in the states as an Infiniti, (At least that was what the District Manager said when He came by my work)

Troy.

Looks like the 350Z, G35, and Corvette had a 3 way.
.............but I'd still git one if I had the cash

Too early to tell, there's no figures from the R35 to compare with. The C6 Z06 sets a very high benchmark for value sports cars. While I'm not saying it's out of this world for the new GTR to top the Z06's numbers, IMO think it's doubtful.

well finally, we get to see it

hot as hell!

i was proved wrong, thought for sure they were gonna cop out with a wide-body g35

but still its only the prototype, and unfortunetly we'll never see it like most sick cars

Re: 2005 Tokyo: Nissan\'s next-gen Skyline GT-R Concept

Looks like a really good CLAY model if you ask me. Saw a BMW at IAA like this.
Re: 2005 Tokyo: Nissan\'s next-gen Skyline GT-R Concept

Great looking car. I hope the styling gets translated downt the base Skyline/ Infininity G35 coupe in the states. It does look like a big car.
Re: 2005 Tokyo: Nissan\'s next-gen Skyline GT-R Concept

it looks like a skyline, g35, and mustang.
Re: 2005 Tokyo: Nissan\'s next-gen Skyline GT-R Concept

No matter how I squint my eyes, I can't for the life of me find any "Mustang" in that.
