Holy Awesomeness! That must have been fun. They remind me of my uncles old truck. I'd cruise the orange and white two-tone anyday.

 

Is it the new trend in building custom hot rods/show cars to do a pewter-like silvery color on the bottom of a two-tone with a darker color on the top?

I think Foose started the whole thing with his Ridler award winning car, Grandmaster.

It's kinda wearing on me. While I applaud some of the effort put into the cars I see at shows, please be original with your paint scheme.

Damn, I can't wait til March 8-10 for Detroit AutoRama!

I'm taking the weekend off work for it, anyone up for a [FJ] crew invasion of AutoRama?

^^^ Many female owned / designed and driven vehicles at the show. There were only about 4-6 pink vehicles there, unfortunately with the semi-crappy lighting many of the softer red colors came through my camera as a darker shade of pink

Nice old truck! Love old pickup trucks, Ford, Chevy, don't matter to me, I love em!

That thing would look even better with a chopped top on it.

I gotta find pics of the '51 Ford we did at school for the Make-A-Wish foundation. It's a sick machine.
