Hi I’ve got a 2007 zx3. The car sputtered to a stop on the highway due to the fuel pump shutting off. My first diagnosis was to replace the fuel pump even though the old one worked when tested out of tank. Long story short the fpdm is sending out a 75% cycle on the com wire which in turn is not sending a ground to the pump. I replaced the FRP sensor, fuse, relay, Switched out the fpdm twice with 2 that I got out of the same year focuses in a U-Pick scrap yard. No change. I jumpered the power pins and ground pins on the fpdm plug in order to prettt much bypass the fpdm and to no surprise the fuel pump kicked in and ran constantly at 100% power. I’m at my wits end with this and I’m lost as to what to do next. I just put some money into this car and replaced all control arms, tie rod ends, front and back brakes, and wheel bearing as the car is in great shape with only 73,000KM
