2012 Focus SE (2.0L) - Can I make this a Performance Rally Car?

Hey Everyone, I'm new to the forum, and was looking for some info. I have a 2012 Ford Focus SE with the 2.0 Ti-VCT engine, and the 6-speed Powershift Automatic with SelectShift (manual shift mode). Is this a suitable car for performance rallying? Would I have to switch to a manual transmission, or does the manual shift mode work? I'm thinking the answer is that I will have to replace the transmission with a manual, since the automatic tranny is probably heavier, plus the electronic manual shift mode is probably too prone to slipping into the wrong gear.
Let me know!
Thanks, great forum!

What exactly do you want to do? Honestly, that's a terrible idea. If you want to do really well at rally, you either need something really fast and AWD (expensive), or something you can beat the ever loving piss out of (cheap). A 2012 Focus fits neither category.
