Happy New Year!

With 2013 comes the promise of another awesome weekend with the NorCal gang.

When: February 23rd - February 24th, 2013

Just like last year!

Meet here by no later than 11AM on Saturday morning:

8040 N Blackstone Ave,
Fresno, CA

https://maps.google.com/maps?oe=utf...esno,+CA&cid=0,0,4342517596710711047&ei=nE0lUbiGNonUigK5qIDgAQ&ved=0CIoBEPwSMAA

That is the address for the Chick-fil-A because that's the only one in town. There is also an In'n'Out and a Chipotle in that shopping center. Feel free to pack a lunch if that's your preference. Water/soda/snacks for the range are suggested.

We will leave the restaurant around noon and then head up the range. We will probably be there from 12:30-4:30 PM. Maybe go for a short drive and then head back to Fresno.

Dinner on Saturday night will be at Eureka Burger:

I can offer up my place again, I'm sure Hale will do the same for those needing a place to sleep.

Sunday (24th) will be a short twisty day if weather and stomachs permit. Otherwise you're free to make your way home after breakfast in the morning.

** These come in different lengths and loads, I'll wait to hear from the owners of these until I specify which shells to get

One note, there are MANY variants of each caliber, make sure you get stuff specified here. If you're not sure, ask!!

Remember folks, you need to bring eye/ear protection with you when you come.

If you're comfortable shooting with just your regular glasses (as I do) then that's fine. Sunglasses work as well, shooting specific glasses with clear or yellow lenses are obviously good as well.

As far as ear protection, I've got quite a few pairs of ear plugs for you to use. I strongly suggest using over ear protection though. I've got 3 extra pairs for those that do not have some.

What's your real name Whiskerz? And are you planning on bringing any of your own firearms?

Foreigner!!!

Nah, you should be fine. Just make sure to keep up with the off topic thread so we all get to know you a bit better. Glad to have you as part of the group, Gordon.

I feel kind of awkward asking, but can you wear a kilt to the gun range?

I'm joking, kind of... haha.

#9 ·
Well, it can get windy up there so ye be warned! lol

#13 ·
No they don't. But between all of us, we'll have some guns for everyone to shoot.

I'll bring both my .22lr's and the 30/30 again.

It's far enough out, can you request that day off Todd? Maybe switch a shift with someone on Sunday?

Ryan, I added you and Leslie to the list. If something changes let me know and I'll take you off / move to a maybe list.

If they don't want it, I'll go with you. :D

Count me in, hopefully with Renee!

#25 ·
Question, What's more important to you guys? Me riding Bianca down? or shooting my Weatherby 7MM with 4-12 Nikon and Bipod?

#26 ·
Gun.

Gun.

It's February, it will be cold and potentially raining. That and a 3 hour ride down Highway 99 isn't all that exciting for a twisty day that might not even happen.
