For all of those reluctant to do this one yourself... Oil change is of course easy. I did the spark plugs as well. Fuel filter was a breeze, except the car seemed to refuse to crank without starting. I let it die with the fuel pump fuse removed, but every time I cranked it again it started right up. After 5 tries I gave up and let it spray fuel when I pulled the hoses. I took it in to a lube joint for the tranny service. 80 bucks, then when I checked it later they had overfilled it (they did the full flush). Seeing as it's Labor Day today I decided to follow the service instructions on pulling the cooler hose etc to remove the excess fluid. That's the last time I waste 80 bucks on a flush - it was easy as pie!
