429 460 conversion

I looked into this about 5 years ago. There are a couple of companies that make plates that you can mount the motor to the frame with. The plates bolt to the motor behind the water pump and then goes straight out to the frame rail.

I know that Hot Rod Magazine did an article on it around that time. I am sorry I can't remember the companies name. I believe that it started with an A. Do some google searches for the swap you should be able to come up with something.

A lot of guys rock aftermarket K members when they do BB swaps. Clearance issues etc. Plus i believe they allow you to mount the engine lower, better CG etc.

Pick up an MM&FF or 5.0, they are both filled iwth info bout that, plus usually one person a month asks about doing a BB swap into a fox
