Also, if you click on "Album List" in the left menu column of that album it will take you to my other albums. There are about 60 pics of the Red SVT Focus if you haven't seen those and lots of other Focus pictures too.

Now I'll get back to work - I haven't touched the Hot Import Night pics.

WOW Peleton! Great work, as usual.

So what do you think about the Blue in person?

P.S. Check your email.

Ok, first thanks for the compliments! Glad to see my hard work is welcomed and enjoyed.

On the color - oh man is it beautiful!! You can see in the different pics that it's really many shades of blue. Different angles and different amounts of light have a noticeable affect on the color you see.

When they rolled it out the door into the sunlight I was in love. It has to be one of the most beautiful colors made for any car right now. BMW has a blue for the Z3 that is similar and Mazda has a blue for the Miata that is about the same too but this color is so much better. When you see it you'll understand.

Also I'm a lot more impressed with the blue fabric in this car than I was the red fabric in the red car. The material is the same, but the shade of this fabric is much more complimentary to the exterior color than the red was. One of the SVT reps mentioned that the red fabric orinally looked a bit dirty and was being changed a bit for production.

I got some questions answered - well lots of questions, because I never stopped nagging the SVT Reps - I'll try to share the answers by tomorrow.

Hey I was wondering if you had bigger pics of the car outside....I want to use it as my background at work (1600*1200) and the little pics just don't cut it.

If you do can you email me a couple of the full car shots outside. (especially the 1st one you posted here)

Thanks

I totally forgot to reply to this... my bad!

Yes!!! I heard the engine. Yes, I even got to see it drive. Was I impressed - totally!! Did I consider knocking Jayson over the head and driving off with the thing - well, no, not really.

He didn't get the thing over 5mph the whole time actually.

I did walk behind it for about 150ft through Galpin's parking lot and I was paying attention to how the car moved over bumps and stuff. It looked so solid and composed, but again, it was only 5mph.

If not for the huge liability involved with driving an unregistered pre-production prototype around on public roads, it's possible that I could have gotten a ride. I probably would have had to keep quiet about it so that no one got in trouble though. Alas, it wasn't meant to be - which is probably a good thing because I would have wanted to tell everyone and it just would have left me wanting more of course.

Well, that's my report on watching the SVT Focus drive 200 or so feet - I hope you enjoyed it.
Image
BTW: The motor made really nice "vrooom, vrooom" sounds - I forgot to mention that part.

I can't see the pic's. I really wish I could. But he's not the only lucky member on the board. This weekend I was at a Fun Ford Weekend at Norwalk, OH. SVT was there and had a red SVT ZX3 there. The best part was they let me sit in it! Those seats are really nice.

No - they are red - it has to do with how the fabric is woven and how the camera captures the light that reflects off of them. They look pretty racy actually, it's a shame I just don't like red...
