A Roush Focus!?!?!

2299 Views 36 Replies 25 Participants Last post by  SCARECROW
I'm always seeing a Roush or Billet Mustang, or a Harley Davidson F-150 and what not, but since the debut of the Focus in N. America I've yet to see an independent package for the Foci. Well I asked Roush about this and this is there response.

You submitted the following question on 10/14/2003.

Q:
Is Roush planning on doing a Roush Focus? I want some sort of package
for my Focus. Whether it be a body kit and engine modification or
either. If so, what kind of cash flow are we looking at for a full Focus
makeover, Roush style?

A:
Randall,

We are working on a Focus package for 2004. It's currently under construction, and we hope to have a some packages ready for it by the end of this year/early 2004. I do know some body pieces will be included, but what exactly on the engine will get modified I'm not certain of. We should have some news on it in the next month or two, so stay tuned.

Thanks,

Casey Mier

Anyways, it was a quick response from them and I'm glad that they are planning something for the Focus at least.

SWEET
last time i asked here on the jet i was told it was way on the back burnner
SIDE EXHAUST SIDE EXHAUST SIDE EXHAUST SIDE EXHAUST PPPLEEEAAAASSSSSEEEEEEE!!!!

I have 3 good friends that have Roushs (two Stage 3s and one Stage 2). They are royal pieces of [censored] and breakdown all the time, but man does that side exhaust look awesome.
Well I hope that if they actually do it, its the quality and reliability of what they can do.....in the mustang line...they are'nt what a SVT is and un reliable....Ive personally heard of several spun cranks...ouch
Just to let you know that a Roush Focus is not a Statement Edition Focus. I will let this stay, but if Xerofall locks it, that is his decision.
Interesting. I contacted them just over a year ago and they had no plans for a Focus, but times change.

Meh, it's okay... this section has been kinda slow. I don't really feel like busting out the padlock yet.

I would be interested to see some of these other Roush cars, just to get a feel for what the Focus might look like.

actually i dont think its bad at all , i like the front bumper , just would ditch the ugly projectors and put a svt grille on it, looks like they used alot of euro parts though , rear tailamps fender i really like the way the rear bumper looks
I just emailed Joe. The one that had the Roush Focus FS at his dealership and asked him if the engine is modified. I will post as to what his reponse is tomorrow nite.
I have not received an email back from Joe yet. Will let you know when this happens.
Yikes! The bumper is scary! The concept is great, but it looks too busy. Wheels are nice, but BFG Black Scorchers? Not my choice for performance rubber. A little clean up on the nose, and then they would have a good looking car.
I have drove lots of roush products and the best one I liked was the 2WD f-150 ex-cab, looked sweet and sounded sweet, the mustangs look bad ass but for the price not worth it. But other than that the body lines they make are untouchable, but personal oppion,to much $$ for what ya get.
I dont want to put any one off, but that is a erou spec focus in that pic. the front bumper is too short to fit over our oversized crash bars, the rear bumber is also too short, the tailights have ambers in the revers local, and the triangular side markers..
it seam like to big of a strech to chang all that pluss the engin and body moldings for a US Roush foci
, but it would look great if it were for real

The picture posted is of a Focus we built a few years back for SEMA. We just finished one for this years SEMA show and its on the way out there. By the way it looks nothing like that one.
