SVTADAM and I were tossing around the iead of a meet at Mohegan Sun. Maybe we could do it like every Friday night at 8:00-ish, to keep things consistant, and bump up attendance. We haven't had a good meet since I joined back on October, so

LET'S GET IT ROLLIN'!

We did have a good meet back in march of this year on the Berlin Turnpike in Newington.

Mohegan Sun sounds interesting, but center of the state sound better.

I would like to meet at the Sun at some point. If it takes a central CT location to get a G2G together, lets do that. Matt, keep in mind, that its already late in the year...8:00 is pretty dark now, in a few weeks it will be worse. Earlier would be better.

Maybe Brian at HTP can get us a solid date when they would like to do another grilling G2G, and plan from there. Meet somewhere in Hartford, and caravan to HTP for grillin good-times.

Ultimately, I would like to do a meet at one location in mid to late October, do a short cruise, and do a lunch at a state park.

we have meets every other sunday - i've been to 10 so far this year. it's the local autocross club. not only do we park and talk cars, we drive the crap out of them too ;)

Ray, you sound like I did for who knows how many years. And, ya know autocrossing used to be oh so much better back when we had the big lot. It was great taking the big sweeper at the tip top of 2nd gear.

Does anyone know of a good, and quiet pizza place? I'm sure if you asked them if you could bring a bunch of cars and park in their lot, and buy their pizza, they's be more than happy to do that.

I think it would just take a bit of calling around. First I think we need to decide on a location.

And his tires are bald enough to qualify as slicks!

We've been talking about going to that place in Wallingford for years as a group and havent yet... why not now?

Not sure why you guys haven't. We do it twice a year with the UConn club.

Willy D's is smaller, slower, but cheaper and you need more throttle control.

On Track is larger, faster, more technical, more lateral g's, but a bit more expensive.

They just changed their track layout as well to make it even bigger.
