Looks good Ron plus it offers competition to the G-Tech and G-Tech Pro in price and performance. Are you looking to invest in one for the focaljet project car?

Yes, I've been thinking about a G-Tech Pro 2 but this is serious competition just based on Escort's solid history.

I will probably go with the Escort, they say it's shipping this month. I'm going to try and get a more specific ETA.

This right here is enough to convince me to go wtih the G-Tech Pro Competition when I upgrade from my regular G-Tech Pro...

Remember, the Focus is a great handling car, not a great 1/4 mile car.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">How can you determine that the G-Tech is better before the GTimer has not even been released yet?

You could be right, but until someone does a head-to-head comparison I'm not sure I would just right off any new contender.

[trust me i sell dozens of these things a year]

but you are right...we will have to wait and see what is to be said about the performance/accuacy of the Escort unit.

Looks very promising. Competition with the G-Tech products can only be a good thing.

One thing I really like about the G-Tech Pro Competition is the ability to set G limits and shift points. Works out very well when filming road courses or autoX's, since you can later go back and determine what path allowed you to top out a certain gear faster than another.

Here's an example of what I mean.
