If you have an electric aftermaket tach, and pulg into ecu #48 does that cut the stock tach off? Could you make only the aftermarket tach work? Problem is I have a gtech pro rr, and since the needle stops at 7,250 or so, and I rev to 7,800 rpm the shift lights, and some other readings are off on the gtech because it calibrates itself to the tach.

It plugs into the The cigerate lighter. I lowered the shift lights to 7,250 from 7,650 and it works fine. Maybe my calibration is off.
