Any know if this will fit a focus???
i know the over drive button will need to be moved somewhere else like the dash. It a the type of button the is on when pushed in and shuts off when released. probably two wires at the max.

Here is the web page.
MOMO-USA site

Some one check this out.
i think the black one with a red shiftboot would clean up the shifter area plus and red e-brake boot. to match a red and black sparco steering wheel.

That is a sweet shifter. The website list it at $119. I'm gonna give them a call Monday to see if it will fit the focus.

you should be driving your car with o/d on. only turn o/d off if you are pulling or driving somewhere mountaneous/hilly. should be very simple to re-route tho

I like the convenience of the stock O/D button, it's very handy for a little quicker reaction from the car when out Honda hunting late at night on the freeways

I will contact them as well.. something we just found out is Ford started changing their knobs recently as well to a non reverse-lockout type... thus allowing for use with any momo knobs..

She after we find out the details we will let you know as well. Be interesting to find out when Ford started changing the knobs as well. We saw a sedan come in bone stock 2001.. so anyone have 2002 with reverse lockout still? Perhaps sedan only?

We are on the topic of Auto shifters here!!! Right
where is this reverse lock out thing it sound like someone is talking about the manual shifter.
with reverse lock out.
Anyone call this company yet to see if it will fit a auto focus?????

I called them yesterday and they said that they had no idea if it would fit on a Focus or any Ford for that matter. I also asked if someone tried to install it, and it didn't work, could they send it back and get a refund. The lady told me that as long as it didn't "look" like it was installed and it came back in it's original packaging, you can get a full refund.

Coool.

So how here is going to try that shifter???
pretty much al you need to do is when you get it
remove the stock handel and line it up if it looks like it will slip over the shifter arm then it all good if not send it back. Get a full refund because it was not installed.

A warning to all those that have not removed their auto shifters before. When you unscrew the bolt that is on the left side of the shifter and pull up, the whole thing comes off, including the piece below the shifter grip itself. I took mine off just to see what could possibly be done to make it look a little better and see how it worked, big mistake.

So I took it off thinking that only the part of the shifter that you hold on too would come off, but no. The whole thing came off, leaving just the internal metal post. This also dis-connected the O/D button wire, which was the biggest pain, because I had to unscrew and lift up the whole center console to hook it back together. Not to freak anyone out, but just a warning so you won't do the same stupid thing and waist a lot of time.

I think I'll be getting this one:

to replace the aftermarket shifter I have now. It wouldn't be mounted, I would just push down on it

josh, are those for autos?

#18 ·
They aren't for autos. What you would have is a shift knob that isn't restrained; you would be able to take it off at anytime, and would push down on it to change gears. My current shift knob is for an auto, but I didn't want to install it a second time, so it just wobbles around. I press the top down to shift, so I can tell you it isn't a problem.

josh, when you get it give me a call so i can come take a look at it. if it works like you say it will, i might do it too.

Won't work on a automatic, but fyi thats the Crystal & Crystal Color knobs... we dont stock those since never had a call of them.. but call us if anyone interested.. esp on non-reverse lockout since u can use any knobs... we move alot of momo & can get anything they have.

If you never use the O/D button, couldn't you just make sure that it is on and just switch the knobs and screw the button? I don't think it would be worth moving.
