The tube, it seems, is a bit too tall, and rubs the hood. Just wondering if anybody has shortened the end that fits against the TB.

Mine does rub on the hood liner. So I have'nt done anything as I don't care that much about the hood liner. Now if it rubbed on the bottom side of the hood, it would be hacksaw time!

As I recall, there isn't a lot of extra tube given you need to attach the hose clamp. But a little extra room would go a long way.

I have a 2002, so there is no hood liner. It is rubbing metal. I can push the box down a little (Just noticed that yesterday). Guess it's time to try a refit.

Shove the tube down in the T/B a lil bit more - It's not in far enough.

I shoved it in 'til she screamed!
hehe, sorry,
No, really, it's contacting the tb already, can't go any further than that.

Did anyone try raising the hood stops so the hood sits higher? There's two rubber plugs around the front of the engine bay that you can tighten or loosen to adjust the height the hood sits. Maybe that'll be enough to stop it from rubbing...

They adjust the front, not the back. Right now my hood is perfectly flush, and I like it like that.
