That was filmed the night before Focal Explosion 2003 at the autocross at the Cumberland airport as part of the National Road Rally Weekend.

Although I don't get Speed TV I do watch it on PBS Saturday mornings at 9:30 AM.I saw that show and did notice the Yellow Focus too.

It is a great automotive and informative tv show on the air.

As soon as I heard what the segment was about, I knew it.
I was going to post, but had 35 other things going on at the time.
I've not posted much in the last 3 days due to lots of other things going on.

I saw the segment...One of the only good things about not having cable anymore is that I watch more PBS now.

I had completley forgotten about your excepades down there that weekend. Cool! It looks like you participated in something pretty unique. Are there plans for next year?

Yes, there are plans for the National Road Rally weekend for 2004. www.nationalroadrally.com. There is a 2 day autocross planned for Oct 25-26 at the airport. The entry form in pdf format is also on the same site.

Last autocross was so big, i had to shift to 3 gear as I was bangin hard off the rev limiter way too early before the corner. The event is sanctioned by the Chesapeake Region of the PCA, but all makes of car are welcome.

You can choose to run just one day if you wish, but why not have twice the fun.

But which car to run? The yellow ZX3 or the new SVTF? Oh hell, I will run both!
