Just a lot of sanding, then spray a coat of primer and then a couple good coats of Dupli-color wheel paint.
It turned out better than I thought it would.

Now people won't stop staring at my car...haha

Just gotta get window tint and the side molding painted next.

here we go....

You will need:
220 grit sand paper
1 can of primer
1 can of wheel paint (your choice of color)
1 bottle rubbing alcohol
1 airhose if you have it(to blow the dust away)
1 roll masking tape
1 newspaper

First you need to use some sort of tire cleaner or really strong cleaner to take all of the old tire dressing off the tires (tape will not stick otherwise)

Then sand the wheels, just sand them evenly and enough to rough up the shiney surface. Blow off with air hose throughout sanding.

Next, take some alcohol on a rag and wipe the wheel down thoroughly. Let dry, might take 10 seconds.

Next, tape off tire. make a ring around the tire, just 1 row all the way around will be good. Make sure to leave outer rim of wheel exposed. Then take some newspaper and attach it to the tape you just layed down. Make sure to tape off the vavle stem too.

Then spray a coat of primer on the wheel.....walk around in a circle, you will get better coverage this way. Let dry, this will take like 5-10 minutes.

Then, spray your primed wheel with wheel paint(same way as priming). Do about 3 light coats, and it will come out nice and even all over.

Keep in mind, you only have to paint the face of the wheel.....not the whole thing.

let dry for about 45 minutes to an hour....longer if you want.

then viola! you be finished...hehe
install the wheels and go turn some heads!

Close enough. Should I say "black-look-alike?"

Not many people liked my satin black Cougar rims either. I think your wheels look good, especially for the amount of money you spent on them!

Great job on the wheels! It gives the car an Integra Type-R look. And since you did it yourself, it makes it even better! Keep it up!
