Just got here today, from Albany, NY. Our house is in Leander, north of Austin. I'm loving the weather and can't wait for 'winter'

actually i kinda expect it to be a little cold this winter. 60-85 in september is a little cold for texas. So im kinda expecting a COLD winter. And cold to us is different then any other state..but still.

Last winter enough ice packed up in my wheel wells i needed a chisel to get my car out of the work parking lot. THAT was fun.

yeah Kris it looks like that here too in the winter, but there are no leaves, it's well below freezing, and the sand is like rock because it's frozen.
