Well, as you guys know, I didn't make it out.

I even got up early enough to make it...unfortunately Pita was pretty sick yesterday morning (from both ends) and Adrienne had to work yesterday, so I stayed home with the sick puppy...I reaaaaally want to run on that course though. It looks like more fun than Whitehouse (aka slalom-central) was in March.

Isn't there another Gainesville event in like August??

I wonder how i would of done if i were there, I have koni shocks & struts, H&R race springs, H&R 24mm front sway, steeda's 28.6mm rear sway, an ****ty tire's (that's what kill's me). engine mods are CAI, cossie header, 2.5 in exhaust, BSD kit, 67mm tb, Alum fly, T2 diff. This SOB just blows threw 1st an 2nd gear's! an im not done with the engine yet i still have to install stg 2 cams an the ITM.

 

Tampa - its not so much what you got, as how much experience you have. You see some stock miata's out there just romp on many of us.

with the road's i have here in SC it's like autoxing every time you go out an drive. There's a turn like every 100 feet. you should see ceaser head mountain here, you drive up the entire mountain in 2nd gear.

 

+ the wheels i have, they have a 38 offset so i need to eliminate the body roll as much as possable because they rub in back.

 

x2 on stock Miatas kicking our asses :lol:

 

RWD, 50/50 weight distrabution, sitting on the ground, an sticky tire's.......ya there going to kick our ass.

...but an example of arguably the best Celica variant ever. (All-Trac ftw)

 

That's Trance4c aka Clayton. Yeah it's an older Celica, but I don't know exactly what's done to it but I know it's got an mr2 turbo engine in it and he runs 16-20 lbs of boost depending on where he's driving/gas he's running. On pump gas it's putting down ~300hp. And the molded body kit is pretty cool

 

Sorry to disappoint guys, its not a true all-trac.

Mine was the first documented FWD 3SGTE swap, its what we call half-trac or GT2.

I'm personally not interested in a true alltrac as they are heavy pigs! So much so that the wheel bearings regularly go out. Swaps can be anywhere from 400-600lbs lighter an mine is probably in the middle of that.

Its just a fun weekend toy.
