Because they're a potentially dangerous downgrade. Bumpstops aren't suspension parts; they're meant to soften the impact between the control arm and subframe should it ever occur. The transition in spring-rate from the springs to the much stiffer rubber bumpstops is already enough to cause sudden oversteer in a hard turn... polyurethane exacerbates the issue.
