Yeah that's what my dad suggested to me. I parked my truck with like 1/4 tank in May, and I guess that was a bad idea :lol: But it runs fine, so I don't know.

Bump from the dead. Here goes for the winter list once again!

Not as many changes this winter as there were last winter, but there will be a decent amount. This winter will be mainly for fixing a bunch of the problems I just dealt with last summer.

What coil pack wires are you talking about? I'm an Avionics Specialist by trade and, at the risk of blowing my own horn, I'm very skilled in wire and connector repair. I'm talking aerospace wire and connector which makes automotive stuff look like a 16 year old's first attempt at wiring up some neon tubes.

Is it something you can remove, or does it need to be done on the car?

Unfortunately, it's something that has to be done on the car. It's the three wires that go into the plug that plugs into the coil pack. They're attached to one of the main engine harnesses. Mine have been attached via butt connectors all summer, and I want to have it fixed properly.

I believe the screws are removable too. Would be dope if you painted/powdercoated the screws gold/beige.
