I currently bought a Zetec from a 2001 Focus with the plans of transplanting into my 89 Escort. The problem I have is I got the engine, wiring harnes and computer out of an auto tranny car as opposed to a manual tranny car. The major questions I have for all of you is A) Does anyone have an ECU from a manual ZX3 they would be willing to trade, or sell B) Does anyone have, or know where I can find online a pin out chart or diagram of Either ECU C) Does any one have or know where I can find online a whiring diagram for the Focus. Thanks alot for any help anyone can give me.

Hey man good luck on your hard work ahead. Regfarding looking for the parts i would either check on the classified or look on one of those part locators websites. Best of luck!

Thanks for the luck. I have been looking around for the parts, but it is the information that I really need right now. I ordered one of those shop manual CD's from someone online. They say it is a copy of the original Ford shop manual CD. Hopefuly that will have the info I need on it. But if anyone knows somewhere else I can get the info I need online please speak up.

That would be a Great help Racer. I need all the info I can get and the best place to get it in my mind is straight from the horses mouth. I have the EVTM and factory shop manual for my escort because I don't think Chilton and Haynes do all that great especially when it comes to wiring diagrams.

Thanks for the info Racer, I will try to make some sense out of it. It seems to have gotten jumbled a bit in the post. If you could send me the Manual tranny info too that would be great.
