I tore mine up pretty good I did it at the track and the shifter hit the back of the hole. I thought WTF and I just kept bangin gears. It was replaced by Ford and no one said anything to me about it. After I did it, I figured that I was over shifting(holding it back/forward after its in gear)I guess its not made to be rippin gears like a stang shifter.
If there is a metal frame where can I get one? The stock shifter is weak and made of Plastic, why plastic, cheap new cars.
