Just found this out today. They are now answering the phone as Ford Performance Group. At the end of the month, March, they are going to start charging for certificates. You now have to fax or mail your registration and drivers license to them, as they are not doing it over the phone anymore.

SVT Information Center
PO Box 490
Dearborn, MI 48121

or Fax 1-313-621-2500

So if you still need one, do it soon.

I just did this the other day. They just asked for a faxed copy of the registration or title...no mention of needing the license. Either way, just glad I got in before they started charging for the certificate.

I guess Fords next step will be to start charging us for our free loan car when the SVT is in for service! Ford is giving us the Mushroom treatment........Keeping us in the dark, and now they are throwing on the shi* (fertilizer). When we emerge we will be full grown SRT owners..........

Cost savings baby! It's just a way of life now in the (American) auto industry. If you're mad about not getting a certificate for free - imagine how the guys that just got their pension frozen at GM feel.

My girlfriend has to pay when she takes hers in. SVT only covers something like 35 dollars, and beyond that, your dealer has the option of eating the rest of the cost. Hers doesn't.

uh you should have your certificate already if you bought the damn thing new...

Scratch the drivers license, they just want your registration or title, along with a cover letter with your name, address, and phone number.

Or you can call yourself: 1-800-FORD-SVT
