i was watching monster garage (dunk tank armored truck) while they were rehashing the armor specialists builders back ground they showed a armored focus sprayed with gun shots ..

who the heck is crazy enough to armor a focus ??

it takes well over 50 thousand dollars to armor any vehicle .. got that lying around ?

just use tinfoil. Even the aliens can't get through tinfoil.

Well, I ride around in an up armored vehicle everyday, and for some reason, I don't feel at all intimedated by traffic.

They do have their benifits.

Have'nt you been reading about Prince William (or is it the other prince*) in England?
Remember what that saying about a turbo mini van? Nobody notices, nobody cars because you car is the equivalent of a toaster, beneath notice of everybody. Being anonomous has its benefits.

Humm, do you guys remember that Prince William drives a Focus? Plus a Focus is a Toaster, beneath everybody's notice. Unseen, out of site, generic, lost among the sea of other commuters in the area. The perfect stealth vehicle.

What else is better than to have a "sleeper" vehicle.

the same people who would chrome most of a base focus motor

Many ppl in Brazil bullet proof their cars especilly in Rio and Sao Paulo. Some manufacturers even offer it as an option when you buy the car. My father used to drive a bullet proof chevrolet vectra in Sao Paulo. The car handled like crap with all the weight.

Youd have to put a damn stout motor in the focus to make it halfway driveable after the armoring proces.

well there is a guy in toronto that chromed an e46 M3. actually it's just paint but it's sick. i think he said he was selling it last time i talked with him
