i had a boner, and man those things sound good.

STS-V
Now there’s the new Cadillac STS-V, with a monster 440-horsepower engine tucked into a very capable chassis surrounded by sophisticated styling, technology and an attractive and sumptuous cabin

---------------------------------------

CTS-V
First came the CTS-V, a 400-horsepower mid-size sedan developed through a zillion laps at the famed Nürburgring racetrack in Germany that could give the BMW M5 headaches — and for a lot less money

I begged my uncle to look at one when he was in the market for a new car. Said he didnt really want a stick, but ended up with a 330i sedan, with a stick.

Like the 330i isn't a good car either...

BTW, the STS-V looks pretty sick; a sleeper with great performance and luxury.

At least Lincoln has the...

Oh, wait. That's right.
Lincoln doesn't compete with cadillac, ford said it again and again they never wish to compete with caddy.

STS-V hate the front end but the rest looks great
Are you referring to Ford inferring that Jaguar is their luxury nameplate for younger buyers in the past? Historically speaking, they have been competitors for decades. Or is just that Lincoln doesn't have a car competitive with the Cadillac offerings at this point? Regardless of what you might have heard, they are absolutely a direct competitor. You can't compete in the same market segments without being competitors.

Lincoln is from now on to be a Buick competetor.

So, are they going to scrap and/or decontent the Town Car and LS to the point they can lower themselves to be a Buick competitor?

I can see the Zephyr and LS going head to head with Buick cars. Town car vs Park Avenue? Not a chance with a 7k price tag difference. Rainier vs Aviator? 5k price difference. If their approach is to target Buick, i suppose I don't understand the strategy.

LS - CTS - (Lacrosse, maybe?)
Town Car - DTS
Navigator - Escalade (prices are about 5k off, but the competition is obvious)
Aviator - Rainier
Zephyr - Lacrosse

I can see where lincoln crosses partially into Buick territory, but their offerings tend to be still competing with Cadillac. Perhaps they will be changing their product lineup to drop into the Buick area.

Cool STS V is nice looks like a CTS thought althought that seems to be the cool thing now making all your cars look alike, kinda like the new BMW with there goofey looking front ends and rear ends the 3,5,7 just just like bigger versions of eachother(the 5 is nice though) Cadillac seems to be doing the same as well as acura and and lincolin with there suv's as well as ford. Its conformity i tell you!
