Im with you blue I just installed my cai and noticed the same thing anyone got any ideas

i think Injen made some sort of a polished plate that you can bolt in there to fill up the gap... if not injen, somebody did... If I can find it I'll let ya know

i just used some black spray paint and that was takes care of fairley quick

hey guys, I keep looking at the ugly spot where my stock intake box was (have an AEM cai now), I was wondering if theres any way to make that now empty spot more aesthetic. Those pieces that the stock box snapped into, can I remove those?

i've been trying to figure that one out as well... i was thinking about trying to have a metal plate installed there, but don't know where i could get one made...
