Mark what day are you planing on starting this? Saturday at 8 A.M.

Do you plan on dropping the motor from the bottom, or pulling it from the top?

And are you pulling the motor with the transaxle or with out it?

Do you need any tools that your buddy might not have, cause I either own it or can get my hands on it.


What happened to the 2.3? Was the timing off?

4 hour R&R....would be reallt nice.

Does anyone have any data on setting up the timing on the durtec...for the cam swap.

Mark said that he has the cam locker bar. But do we have to lock the crank on the durtec motor also. On the zetec you don't have to lock the crank.

You do not have to resurface the flywheel, if you are keeping the same clutch. Only if the flywheel has turned blue from overheating it, would we have to have it resurfaced.
