As a general guideline, advancing the cam timing moves your torque curve to lower RPMs. So, retarding cam timing will tend to shift the curve up the RPM range.

ok i just installed cam gears on my car. idle is great, same as before i put them on. the car pulls hard down low, say from 2500 to 4k, but then runs out of air after that. i am going to dyno them soon, but i may be doing the tuning myself. so where do i start adjusting from there??intake first?? which way??
