I haven't pulled my cam gear cover but based on various available pictures is looks like they have 40 teeth. If that's the case (360/40)/(2:1 ratio of shaft gear)= 4.5 degrees per tooth?
That sounds about right. Id just go ahead and count them if i needed to know, but whatever. But yeah, removing the timing belt cover is a little bit of a bitch to get on and off.
Yep, somebody might be up to something.
And yes, the timing belt/cam gear cover is wedged between the engine and the motor mount on that side. But, a sharp box cutter cutter and 10 minutes could fix that...,
