Is there any accurate way to setting timing back to 0,0..?

At TDC, if I use the cam tool and set to 0,0 markings would that work..?

Thanks.

should do the trick. make sure the bar will fit accurately in the slots and you should be good to go
Thank you sir..

The bar didn't actually fit in stock form. It lines up, but it was a bit too thick to fit the sluts...
huh, mine fit bit tight but fit....just the way i like it...
you were 180 degrees off then
not neccesarilly. i had a hard time getting it in too. i had to lossen the caps and then tighten them back down onto it to get it to work.
you weren't using the zetec tool were you.?

I believe the crankshaft pin was the same but the cam bar was just slightly different.

Your are backwards.... the pin is different.... the bar is the same.....
okay
On the subject of cam timing, what type of gains have people gotten using the marcy motorsports cam adjustment tool on a d20 car? Will the adjustments be the exact same on the d20 as on the d23?
I believe he was a little more conservative on the 2.3
the almighty mr marcy speaks of cam timing settings in the duratec.

Hallowed be the marcy. He brings focus to our discussion!
So is -4 -6 better for the 2.3 or -2 -6
