When i turn my car on and iam just sitting there, the first 10 seconds after i turn it on, the car starts shaking for a second then rev's up to 1rpm wihtout me touching the gas and then stops and is fine after that. Is this a problem or is this guna cause me any trouble in the future

w/in tolerances you say?
? That sounds like BS to me, if it's seriously for 10 secs that's ridiculous, i've never had that problem personally, but recently i have had it happen when coming to a stop the rpms will go below 900 rpm and shudder for a second, but never more then 2
, and i thnk it's because i need an oil/plugs change, and my filter cleaned. But GL w/ it

It's true. I had a '90 Escort Wagon that would fast idle for the first 10 seconds when it started, especially in the winter. My mechanic said it was supposed to do that and it had something to do with emission control system/exhaust system
