16X7 for the focus are 399 euros each so about $460 each yes they are not cheap but you don't have to fix them.

Interesting.

I like my solution better though... 225/45-16 on a 16x7 makes for enough rim protection that I can't curb them.

215/40/17 on 17x7 and curbed them right over the rim protecter using Goodyear GSD2's.

I like how the first wheel they thought to make out of this stuff was the Ronal Turbo design. Gee, I wonder if they're aiming at owners of a certain brand of car?

Ah... Mine won't do that.

I don't think these wheels aren't all that revolutionary, because if they were painted as a conventional aluminum wheel, they'd still scratch like mad.

theres a substantial difference in sidewall rubber between 215/40/17 and 225/45/16

It the fact that they are tossed, beat, dropped and driven with no tires and that they stay TRUE. That is one strong wheel. If I did that with the wheels I have now they would be finished. I give this company a thumbs up for sure.
