Do you have your injectors and mass air installed already or are you going to do that here (do it here if you dont have any kind of working chip installed)

Let me know what you come up with. My car does the same exact thing. I made a new idle screw for my throttle body and just keep the throttle open slightly, keeps the rpms at 1,000 at idle.

 

Are you venting the bov to the atmosphere

 

yeah to atmosphere but thats not my problem, does the same either way I vent it. I think it's some sort of fuel delivery problem, it's actually hard to explain. I'm still working on it.. We'el have to wait to tommorow and see whats up.

MAF turbulence causing it to run pig rich? Does it smell like it is running rich or does it just stall out?

 

actually I think MAF turbulence would more than likely cause it to lean out... now that I think about it. I dunno but the main thing is does it smell rich? How high are your EGTs? Just trying to help

 

you know what I think it may be MAF troubles. I run the ford style compressor housing with the bolt on flanges and this all started when I built a new flange that is larger then my old one. the old one was 2.25'' and the new is 2.5'' but it's hard to believe that would do this, but hey I've seen some strange things. THanks for the info guys.
