do the carbon fiber dash kits work on the SVT's? My dad talked to a guy at steeda and he said that they dont work. What is the differance if any?

I am pretty sure there isnt but maybe i am mistaken.Is it a dash kit that Steeda sells or those ones you find on e-bay all the time.I got mine off e-bay.I am pretty sure they work on an SVT too.
