Can it be done if so is it any diffrent then painting fiberglass

carbon fiber was intended to be painted if I remember right.....the coating on the hoods yellows because it was never intended to be used for extended periods

Quite correct...And to continue slightly; in the aerospace and racing industries, it is painted...Unfortunately you get all the ricers who decide for some reason it looks good unpainted...And then you get all these ricers complaining when their hoods yellow...

...Anywho, painting carbon fiber is just like painting fiberglass...The same steps apply...Have fun!!

Painting was not a problem. matter of fact, I am trying to get some fading work done around the same lines, where it kinda blends or fades into the carbon fiber.
