here's the only place I've seen it, but I'm guessing there's others floating around too. Since it seems like a quasi-straightforward part.

CarbonFibreFX makes theirs for Euro Foci, which have clocks in the radio surround. I tried to contact them once about getting a similar part made for American models, but never got a reply.

Oh you're right, it does look like there's a space for the little clock.

theres a guy on FFOC that can make it a single din and then cover it in CF if that is what you prefer although it is expensive since he's asking UK prices for his work. grrrr. they look really good too.

that pic looks like carbon fiber film(fake) or vinyl(fake) applied onto existing radio surround.

I'll disagree, having seen how many types and styles of carbon fiber exist... that looks to be real carbon fiber... (actually n/m I can't tell without a high res picture)

have you guys forgot about steeda and the carbon fiber interior dress-up kit they make for sub $140.?

I'd definately be interested in a single DIN unit if it allows the headunit face to fit flush with the surface & allows clearance for drop-down/flip faces.

Interested in a LHD version for US cars in single DIN. Not sure I'd want one in the large (sort of double DIN) standard opening.

Also, if doing it in single DIN, why not center the opening between the heater control set and the 4 way flasher button, that picture of the RHD version looks a little odd with all that space above the opening.....
