That Alternator is a bi0tch to take out on a stock car. I can't even imagine having to replace it with an SC there.

No doubt, it had to relocated as part of the JRSC
install....
It's even deeper in there than before

well they cant get an alt in till "maybe tomarrow".
meanwhile im suppose to start my new job on monday out in texas. I said i need to have it done tomarrow, (it went from 4 hrs to) well its a 5 hr job....and were only open till 4 tomarrow... FORD SUCKS ASS..

wait, am i reading this right, or are you mad at them for charging you to remove the SC in order to get to the part thats broken? How do you get mad at that? Its not their SC, and its not supposed to be there in a stock car, which the waranty is there for

Im super surprised they even replaced teh other things under waranty, youre lucky for that, they could have EASILY blamed it all on the blower

What makes you think he's mad at being charged??? Personally, I don't see that implied anywhere at all. He seems to just be pointing out his misfortune at having to pay for them to remove the s/c to get at the warrantied parts.

I agree that he is fortunate that the are replacing the other parts under warranty though. At least he has a good dealer

 

they can only charge you 10%over what you were quoted on so that $24. thats not bad at all. and if they **** something up then they gots to replace it for free bro. make sure that you get the quote on paper not just over the phone or something. the timing blows tho, having to be in texas for a new job and everything. good luck with everything

 

like i said, thats only what it looked like to me, maybe i didnt understand, but i still think he;s lucky that they are even touchin his car, bring a SC focus into a dealer 'roud here and get laughed at

 

im glad there warrentying it....im pissed because first they said they would have it done today, this was at 9 am ... then when i called at 5 pm guy told me they were outta stock of the alt...they might get the part in tomarrow .. and tomarrow theyll say well have it done next week or some crap ....i have a bad feeling that when they remove the manifold there gonna f*** something up.....it was a pain to install and im pretty postive they havent worked with one yet (auto s/c) .....when we installed it was a bitch ...so to NAZ im not bitching about them warenting the work im bitching for the fact that they had my car all day just to tell me when i had to call ("will call you") that the part was outta stock and depending on when they get it in they "might" be able to work on it. AND when they go to remove it there not gonna know what to do..
when i walked back through the work area a bunch of maybe 18-21 were working on the cars and talking to each ..saw like two older dudes that actullay looked like they knew what they were doing....hell one guy i talked to , while waiting earlier waited 2 hrs for an oil change. NOW you tell me

car will be "ready by lunch time monday"..before i pay or leave im gonna double and triple check every hose, and botl going to the s/c. Nothing was missing or damaged from the install..im just hoping they dont frig anything up if so..you guys gotta help me cause if i find one thing wrong i will be ready to hurt them... ill let yall know what happens on monday probly around noonish - evening but defently before 7 cause they close at 7 ......conversation i had yesterday: i explained to to them that "2 guys with no lift installed (what there removing in 2hrs) but they the pros need 5hrs to do it and it was pathitic" them: "well you know its the labor its not an easy job"..ok when is my car gonna be done defently by monday lunch time..so it well take them a total of 28hrs of actualbusiness day to do a 5 hr job...
