no, that explains why i dont have a "centenial" ford
or the rest of the dozens of "custom" focus's ford has made by changing a pin striping, a button on a radio, a headrest, or a sticker that makes it special
I would be spending my time trying to come up with something to compete with the srt4, civic type R and such, not coming out with more and more gay COOL focus editions, that just make our cars, that much more gay....

just because they are proud that they've been around 100 years doesn't make Ford gay, why are you degrading your car and the company it came from, all you ever do is bad mouth the focus and ford, yet you still have one, damn that makes alot of sense to me
badmouthing ford doesnt mean i hate my car...look dude, i have a right to hate my car even if i wanted, people like me who have been through so much with their cars and have done so much with them, tend to start hating them sometimes, and loving them other times, its hard to explain, when you start putting more than just shiftknobs and exhuast tips on a car, it becomes more clear what i mean...its a hate/love relationship
But personally, i dont like ford, i dont like the direction they are going, i dont like their service or their quality nor do i like how they go about at things.
YES, i think the EURO edition svt is gay, yes i think the centenial focus is gay, yes i think the KONA, S2, mach, sony edition and the rest of those fruity models are gay...
just make a damn worthy focus that will be mean, lean and a muscle machine

Make just 1 badass focus for every 10 gay ones you make, please ford...
They did a decent job with the svt, but again, another reason i dont like ford, is that it was way way too late, because the competition is gonna swallow it whole.

although i dont kno if it means Ford wants it "up the butt", i do agree with naz in that Ford has to get in the game...
its one thing to offer all the ACCESSORIES that are on the different editions in a catalog or sumthing, but to make EDITIONS for each part is just dumb...and they spend all the money on marketing these EDITIONS...
they got to start opening their eyes in the market today, or else they'll be left in the dust by GM and jap makers...not only left behind but also in bankruptcy...
i mean u dont see Ford Jr. sayin on comercials " my dream car would be a Centennial Focus with a fair sound system, black trim, and a 'poofy' 4 banger"...its the morons in research/marketing/development that need a swift kick in the a**!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">I do know how you feel, I've had quite a deal of problems with my focus and had it pretty fixed but now it is stock, and i went on times when i was pissed as crap at my car, mainly the 6 different times it has broken down, but lately i've been on the upswing and really have been liking it alot, now that it is pretty much stock again, i don't have nearly as many problems that i used too, and i don't know i kinda like the fact that they have different limited edition packages even if it may only be just a badge, but then again this one is pretty ridiculious they shoudl celebrate their 100th anniversary with the cars that have been around more than 3 yearsOriginally posted by nazthug:

What is so special about this one?
I agree with Nazthug...even though I own a Mach Focus (mostly for the HIDs) I think these special edition focus are lame gimmicks. Put some time and thought and make a new SVT before it gets crushed the new Neon SRT and other cars in its class instead of having dealers slap some stickers and a new mp3 player on all their black cars.

well hopefully Ford is in the thought process, and the run-in with the cosworth 4wd focus in germany may be a hint that a savor may be in the air to save us from these medeocre packages...
i mean i really dont have faith in Ford doing that...but i still wouldn't be surprised, because u have now the STi comin out and even the SRT-neon who does low 12's (right?) straight from factory...the cosworth would definitly put Ford back in the game...
but hey we didn't get the RS so you also have to think about that one!
