My girlfriend went to the brake shop today to get the brakes on her 96ish accord looked at and they told her that the rotors need to be "pressed" off, or something to that effect. My question is: is there anything special i need to do to change her rotors and pads? I've never worked on a honda before, but i know its super easy on a focus. I appreciate all your help, thanks!

I believe there might be....

Check in with honda-tech.com...

I know for my buddy's 'Teg they have a screw thats a PITA to get outta there that holds the rotor to the spindle. We had to use an impact screw driver (one that you hit the back end with a hammer) and totally get new screws to replace it. I've heard that all hondas are like this... the screws are a couple bucks at the dealer. so its no biggie...

the impact screwdriver may be tough to find... took 3 home depots for us to get one!

Other than that it was supa dupa easy!
