I used to have a ton of bookmarks to different Focus parts sites, but they all got deleted. I know one place was selling shorty antennas for $20 shipped but I can't find the URL anymore. Can you guys give me some sites to order a new antenna cheap?

Thanks

Are they hard to install??

Has anyone make a "how to" for installing. I almost took wire cutters to my stock antenan the other day, but figured I'd just install a shorty instead.

i bought my shorty from zx3tuning.com. Their's has a little different style to it than all the rest that i've seen, it's really cool. i doubt it'll be the CHEATEST thought. personally i'd rather throw down $5 more and have a sweet antenna.

as far as installation goes, i know the zx3tuning one you just unscrew the stock on and screw the new one in. it's really just that simple. Should take you about 30 seconds. i would assume any other brand would be the same.

Just so you know.. when you put a billet shorty antenna on, you will want to make sure you remove it before running your car through a carwash. If not, you will be replacing the antenna base as it will rip the antenna off and damage the base in the process.

Thanks for all the info guys! I used to know all these sites, but stopped looking for mods and forgot where to look..

I used a hacksaw and cut mine off at 6" from the base, then wrapped some black electrical tape around the end to form a tip. Used a lighter to heat up the end of the tape and rolled it to make a rounded end. Cost $0
