Checking In With 30K
<font color="black"> Just hit 30,000 today. Driving an 01 ZX3 <font color="#666666">S</font><font color="red">2</font> and just wanted to express my overall satisfaction with the car.
Despite all the complaining and the reports of lemons, mine has been great,, and this from a three time Honda owner?!
My wife has an 03 Jetta 1.8T and I can’t even begin to list the annoying, unfixable problems. When I take it to the dealer they say yeah they all do that. This is just so unacceptable!
Right now with just over 5000 miles on the Jetta, it has developed some kind of oil leak. Can see it right there on the driveway after the car had been sitting for a day.
I hope the son of a bitch seizes up while under warrantee so I can tell them to keep their German engineered POS.
Anyway, love the Focus and would keep it longer if it weren’t for new arrival expected in the family in March.
Car is way fun, but an infant isn’t going to tolerate that exhaust and even if the baby would, my wife wont..
So look for this car to be up for sale around FX04. </font>

I greeted 30k with $89 that I had to spend for alignement because the tires were wearing unevenly.
Actualy, now my car drives better then when it was new. Partly, because all the problems have been fixed (like broken wheel bearing). And partly, because the 2000-3000 rpm hesitation has mysteriously vanished.
