Honda hasn't publicly said the Type R is coming to the U.S.--but we say it's a done deal. If you're in the market for that kind of focused, high-commitment driving all the time, you'll love the Type R, though less-aggressive pilots may tire of it quickly.

I hate to be the bearer of Bad news, but this is a repost.

Like I said in the other thread... The CTR won't be here for less than $22k. For that price you can get an SRT-4 and still have $2k in the bank.

Can we rehash it any way. I am kind of into this little beast. Hell, I'm really into the srt-4. I love what's going down in this industry. I hope ford responds soon.

Is the R turbo or NA?

Honda Civic Type R - £16,000.00 = $25,683.20

Welcome to WRX land.

The cheapest Focus price is £10,645 = $17087.35 . That's for a Focus with a 1.4L engine and whose estimated 0-62mph(100km) is 14.4 seconds. I'm pretty sure even the mighty 2.0L SOHC Foci and base version ZX3 cost a bit under $17k here in the U.S. and can probably outdo a 14.4 0-62mph. The Civic Type R may make it in the estimated $18k-$20k range if it comes here.

Since most of you people would not buy the CTR due to price, then I guess the same goes for the Focus RS (if it ever comes out in U.S.). For the price of the Focus RS (probably around $25k+), I would not even buy a ****ing Ford.

I hate the Rice scene... But you just can't disrespect all that power coming from those small Japanese motors.
