I was looking at my pedals today and noticed what looks like new motor oil or brake fluid on them..then right below the pedal on the carpet there is a small 6 inch puddle of whatever it is..I touched it and smelled it and it feels like water, not oily, and has no smell...I can't see where the ish is coming from..Any suggestions besides taking it in to the dealer? thx guys...I checked my fluid levels in the car and all are at max..hmm

Looks like Your clutch master cylinder is leaking. On the focus, they actually put this inside the car. Look up the pedal and follow the pedal until You see it connected to the clutch master cylinder and see if fluid is leaking from it.

That's a roger that Noresull..If I press the clutch in with car off it squirts liquiid from up in there...Off to the dealer it goes...Would they be able to blame any mods on this, like pedals, chip, intake, exhaust, pullies, short shifter, ? thx

The only thing other than parts failure that could have cuased it is maybe if it got kicked really hard, but as You know, it is darn near impossible to reach Your foot up there.
