Code P0409

OK I got one for you. When my low fuel indicator light comes on and I fill up the car with fuel, sometimes the indicator needle wont move over to the full side. When this happens and I drive the car for anything more than about 5min the check engine light comes on. The code that came up is a p0409 which deals with the egr system. BTF has done the work around on the egr sensor, and it really dosent seem like that would be causing the problem. Any thoughts?

gas cap, get a new one.

mine started doing that wheni first got my car and they had to replace the cap.

My needle's doing that too...i think it may be due to my hole in the return line from turbo meltage...i haven't thrown a code for it though.

Im gonna try the gas cap and see if that clears things up.
