Ok, I have done suspension mods to many cars, but the coilover issue is getting to me, so I question away.....

On the coilovers, I was assuming that the coilovers had to be installed on struts. Is this the case? or are these coilover kits everyone has for the front struts and the rear shocks? Help...I am sooooo confused......

The front of the Focus is a true coilover suspension. The rear uses a seperate coil spring and damper or shock. Focus Central sells a kit to convert the rear to a true coilover. Most after market kits are coilover front and seperate spring/damper rear.
